| Bio: | Hey there. Welcome to my little corner of the virtual world. I'm just your average mid-twenties perpetual student who lives with an Albertan (James), and my fiance from Buffalo ( ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} tempest56). I'm the proud owner of a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph, and three of four years of a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Public Policy. I'm currently on hiatus from school and seeking proper employment. I live in Guelph, and I adore Cowtown. I was born and raised in Toronto, and frankly I couldn't be happier away from it. I hope to get into forensics in the near-ish future armed with dual degrees, but we all know life doesn't always go how we plan it, right?I like to roleplay. I like to play video games and will always hold to the notion that Falco in Super Smash Brothers Melee is a devastating creature in the right hands - but probably not mine. I am not fond of children, and I have no plans on having any unless I suddenly hit a mommy track so hard I can't repress it - which is highly doubtful. I like cats better than I like most people. I think the world is full of idiots and they don't deserve much beyond the basest of politeness, if that. I like to sleep late, read books like crazy (I prefer mysteries), be sarcastic and cynical, drink a lot of coffee, eat chocolate, do counted cross-stitch, knit. This may classify me as a geek or a nerd, but I rather enjoy what it is I do. I think, I feel, I bitch and I laugh. This journal is catharsis, record-keeping, a way to keep in touch with friends, and generally amuses me. I update when I feel I have something to say to the world - or to certain people in it - and I stopped caring a while ago if you wanted to read me or not. After all, this is TEH INTARWEB and it's really not that hard not to read something you don't like. I tend not to water down my opinions, and if I tread on toes that matter, I apologize. To the others, well - deal. Life sucks, get a helmet! I also own a beautiful brown tabby DLH female cat, MacGuyver, often just called plain old 'Mac' or 'goddamn cat'. She has the best tail in the world. I 'adopted' a cat to 'temporarily' 'foster' - notice the 'quotes' - and her name is Te-Lil, a beautiful diluted tortoiseshell cat. I've also got a rat named Basil who is a savage fucking beast and will eat your face just as soon as he'll eat a Nutri-blok. Anything else you wanna know? Go ahead and friend me. I won't bite.
